How do you fix Red Ring of Death?
I haven't played my 360 in about 2 weeks. I decided to play Gears today and after five minutes of having it on, it got the RRoD. It's never had it before. Any help? I'm pretty reluctant to send it to Microsoft, and I don't even think the warranty is still good. I got it a long time ago.

2. The next option is to find a repair center. The will fix e74 indeed for less, but unfortunately they will take a couple of weeks to get back to you because of back orders and such. Not many people liked this option, if you are a little hesitant than go right to the next one.
3. Fix it yourself! Yes you can fix e74 error if you wanted to. The thing is, you will be using an HD step by step video guide to get through the process. It doesn't take long at all, you don't need to be an electrician or a mechanic either. For under $40 this is an absolute steal, but I must warn you that there are some bad guides out there. Look for videos, not just a book or something.
