what do you think about continental ultra race tire for a road bike?
i cheked the specs for that tire but i dont know what does TPI =180 means
TPI = Threads per Inch - and it relates to the fabric that's makes up the carcass of the tyre.
The high the TPI the finer and thinner the threads, it may be more supple but is more puncture prone.
The continental GP supersonic has a tpi of 310!
The ultra race tyre isn't particularly brilliant, there are better tyres out there.
For fast riding try the Michelin pro race (I use vredestein tricomp) or for durable riding try the Michelin krylion carbon.
Tyres are a little like saddles though, sometimes you find one that suits you and you stick with it.
