DiamondBack Response From Road To Rugged
Whether you're looking for an exciting way to get in shape, or you simply want to get outside and enjoy some fresh air and fun, bike riding is an excellent way to achieve both. There are many styles and types of bikes to choose from. The first thing you will need to do is decide what kind of riding you would like to do. If you'd like to ride on paved roads and go fast, you may want to consider purchasing a road bike. If you'd rather tackle some off-road trails, a mountain bike such as the diamondback response would definitely be the way to go.
Road bikes allow the rider to achieve high speed on paved surfaces, or casually cruise around the neighborhood. Mountain bikes, on the other hand, are designed for navigating your way around rugged, rocky surfaces.
Mountain bikes are very versatile, you are able to ride them off-road or on pavement. Trying to maneuver a road bike, with it's light, thin frame and skinny tires through difficult terrain is possible, but not recommended. Bike suspensions (the system of springs and other devices that protect the frame of the bike from shocks that spread through the wheels while riding over rough ground) are not commonly found on road bikes.
During the late 1970s early 1980s, road bicycle companies began to make mountain bikes using lightweight materials. Today you are able to find many types of trail bikes comparable in weight with road bicycles. You can also easily switch out the tires on your off-road bike to the skinnier tires used on road bikes, in case you feel like riding on the street. When you want to hit the trails, simply put the bigger tires back on.
Mountain Biking With The Diamondback Response
If you plan on doing hard core mountain biking, opting for a full suspension would most likely be the best idea. Full suspension bikes tend to be heavier and more able to take a beating, compared to the hard-tail (no rear suspension) bikes like the diamondback response. Hard-tail mountain bikes are a bit more agile than the full suspension kind, they require less care, are easier to pedal, easier to jump and are usually more affordable.
Diamondback Response Highly Rated Among Consumers
If you decide to go with a mountain bike, the diamondback response has a generally favorable rating among consumers. Many reviews note the affordable cost (compared with other similar bikes). It also comes in three different sizes, extra small (14 inch frame) small (16 inch frame) and extra large (22 inch frame). All in all it is a great bike for beginners and intermediate fun seekers, and the best part is, the health benefits are completely free!
You can't go wrong with the highly consumer rated diamondback response mountain bike.
