Easton arrows mismatched for bow?
I shoot a pse bowmadness, 60 # draw weight and 29.5" draw. I use a mechanial release and 125g broadhead. I was recently set up with a new batch of a 12 arrows. The dealer sold easton power flight carbon arrows in the .400 spine. I am worried because the arrow chart for easton suggest that i use a .340 spine with that set up.
Is this sometihng i should be concerned with? Are these arrows to light for the bow, they seem to shoot ok but i cant really tell being new to archery.
Yes it is. The 340 would be the way to go. Seems everyone is into speed not so much penetration or accuracy. Lighter arrows are harder to tune, I don't care what anyone says about that. Period.
Get the 6 grains per lb of draw weight and set it up right. Do the front of center balance to determine what weight broad head to use and go from there. You want something in the 11 to 15 percent FOC for a well balanced arrow. That will do the best job and fly the best for you. Be sure
to spin your arrow and broadhead like a top on a flat surface to be sure they are aligned properly and spin like a top with no wobble. Good luck to you.
