Suabru legacy gt OEM brake anti squeal+lube?
I bout OEM pads for my 2005 legacy gt and the brake pad set came with brake anti squeal+lube. It came with two packets. one packet contains a copper colorish compound. and it also came with a second one with a black compound. Id like to know which compounds need to be applied where. Thanks!
Congratulations!!!! You have done the RIGHT thing by buying GENUINE Subaru parts. To do the job right, get a few cans of spray brake clean chemical from local auto part store. Use this to clean all old brake dust and soot from what you are working on. I hope you are using genuine Subaru brake discs, if you need them. Anyway, Go back to your Subaru dealer and ask the parts department which grease goes where. They will be happy to tell you. You didn't mention whether this is front or rear brakes. Either way, a call to the dealer will save you a lot of time and worry. Good Luck!!
